Sablés

These cookies are the French version of shortbread. The recipe I used was from Dorie Greenspan’s Book, so once again I do not want to reprint the recipe here, but there is an excellent tutorial from the Tuesday’s With Dorie Group.

Mine don’t quite look as good as the ones from the group, but oh well! The cookies involve being rolled up into logs and refrigerated for hours.
